AUTHOR
Donna M. Zadunajsky started out writing children’s books before she accomplished and published her first novel, Broken Promises, in June 2012. She then has written several more novels and her first novella, HELP ME!, which is a subject about suicide and bullying. Her third novel Family Secrets, “Secrets and Second Chances”, which is first in a series she is writing, was given a publishing contract through California Times Publishing.

Have you ever wondered how well you really know your spouse, your friends and even your family? Everybody has HIDDEN SECRETS but some are hidden better than others. Have you ever questioned something someone has done or said or not said? Someone you thought you knew everything about? That's what happened to Carla Michaels. She thought she knew what her life was all about and slowly she finds out she doesn't know much of anything. I couldn't put this book down. Read it in one evening. Everything that Carla Michaels has loved has ended tragically. She isn't sure life has any meaning any more. She's not sure she can go on. Just when she thought things were going in the right direction, the past crept in and with it some deep, dark secrets that she found out through some journals that had been hidden. Will Carla make it through all the tragedy? Will she find what she has always wanted more than anything? It all comes from the journals. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery, suspense, and romance with a slight dark side. Well written and you can actually relate to Carla. She could actually be your best friend. This book had such reality to it, that page by page you learned more and more of the secrets and the tragedies. You will feel such emotion. Will Carla hold on and pull through this?
